SSRC provides our members with opportunities to serve the community. Our main community service activity is the annual Science Weekend where we invite less privileged children from our beneficiary for a fun-filled day of activities and share with them more about Science, thus spreading the joy of learning Science to our community. We believe that engaging in community service allows our members to develop a better understanding of those around us and grow to become compassionate individuals who will make lasting, positive impacts on society. In addition, community service allows our members to acquire critical life skills as well as provide a service to those who need it most.
