Hwa Chong has always provided an integrated and rigorous science enrichment programme for its students. Every year, over 150 students are involved in attachments, mentorship programmes and science research projects. One such science research mentorship programme students are able to partake in is the HCI Centre for Science Research & Talent Development, CenTaD programme.
SSRC plays an active role in supporting research students in their journey in scientific academia. The yearly CenTaD Conference and Exhibition is organised by members of SSRC. These events serve as a platform for students to interact with like-minded peers, engage in scientific discourse, and refine ideas with constructive criticism from peers.
